Primary Connector Kits

The ALS-52 model is designed for applications with a voltage rating of 5kV or lower and is suitable for use with copper or brass tape shielding and steel wired armor.  It confirms to FAA L-823 specifications.

The kit enables either the establishment of detachable waterproof connections between various types of airfield cables or the creation of detachable splices of all classifications whether they are armored or unarmored. 

Each kit comprises of a plug housing and a receptacle housing along with two crimp applied connectors for ensuring screen and SWA continuity.  It also includes a crimp applied electrical pin and socket, manufactured according to FAA regulations.  The kit is compatible with cables up to 10mm2 or 8AWG, and an outside overall diameter of up to 21mm.

It is filled with a fast curing resin, ensuring a complete dielectric strength and waterproofing.  The outer armor is connected to the earth cable using a closed sleeve connection (Included).
